De Lacy Executives client is a market leading, global organisation within the agricultural livestock production sector. We seek an experienced Sales Consultant to lead and manage sales activities for innovative key product categories in Scotland.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a good knowledge of the UK livestock farming industry, including the economics of production and farm profitability.

Previous experience in an advisory or consultative selling role is essential to enable you to manage and deliver the sales budget and to identify prospects to convert to sales. You will work in conjunction with distributor customers, with responsibility for duel calling on farm, demonstrations and farmer meetings.

You will be commercially astute and demonstrate a high level of customer service skills with the ability to present costed, balanced and justified benefits of the companys products to individual farmers, demo groups and distributor staff.

Candidate Requirements:

Good knowledge and understanding of UK livestock production systems

Proven experience in an advisory or consultative selling role

Previous experience of prospecting and closing sales

Strong IT skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good relationship building skills

Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative

Full UK driving licence

Remuneration:

A highly competitive remuneration package will be on offer to the successful candidate dependent on experience
