De Lacy Executive seeks a Ruminant Feed Account Manager to cover the South East of Wales. Our client is an innovative and progressive agricultural company who are experiencing continued growth throughout the UK and Europe. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will hold a passion for the ruminant sector and will influence their team to meet growing demand and support existing accounts. This wide-ranging role offers an excellent career opportunity.
This is predominantly a field-based role and will involve managing some existing accounts and selling to farmers to gain new business. Sales candidates looking to cross into the feed sector are also encouraged to apply.
Previous sales experience.
Good experience, understanding and interest in UK farming - particularly livestock.
A keen interest in ruminant nutrition.
A good commercial grasp of the agricultural industry.
Determination and resilience.
Good communication and the skills to influence people (this is more than just being good at talking to farmers).
A strong work ethic.
Enthusiasm and confidence.
Valid UK driving licence.
