De Lacy Executive is recruiting a self-motivated tenacious Business Development Manager for a well-established market leading company within the agricultural IT sector. Our client has a strong presence within the UK and international markets aiming to deliver computerised and digital solutions to agriculture and agri-food businesses alike.

The successful applicant would be supporting and developing strategic plans to achieve the overall business objectives. Whereby, reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, whilst understanding the customer needs to pitch the products effectively in adding value to the business. This unique opportunity requires someone with the charisma to generate new business leads at the same time as supporting current accounts, involving strict personal organisation including strong communication with other Business Development Managers and Account Managers. This is home-based role covering and traveling the UK, however the ideal candidate will be expected to visit the office located in the West Midlands.

Key candidate requirements:

Proven record of developing new accounts with regards to sales targets

True passion for informatics and/or sensor technology

Excellent at building relationships with both clientele and colleagues

Confident interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills

Ability to analyse intricate numerical data

Experience within the UK food or agricultural industries desirable

Capability to work outside company hours to meet the needs of the business

Full clean UK driving licence with the aptitude to travel extensively

Remuneration: Competitive salary dependent on experience
