SG038 - Key Account Manager-Swine UK

This role is to plan and drive strategic revenue growth with large key accounts. To partner with business in development of the strategic commercial plan for increasing market penetration, sales volume and profitability in the Swine Sector

Our client operates in 70 countries providing food, agriculture, financial and industrial products and services. De Lacy Executive have been engaged to recruit for the position of Key Account Manager Swine UK

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience and knowledge of the UK swine feed sector, technical nutrition knowledge, commercial dexterity and has the ability to grow and develop key customers across the country.

What is the role?

Develop and grow Trusted Advisor partnerships with large swine customers

Cultivate and document understanding of the customers business

Develop and maintain key-account plans, regularly reporting progress

Grow the business, deliver targets, measured by volume, complete feed equivalents and gross margin

Develop technical skills and expertise in applied animal nutrition

Collaboration with intercompany resources.

Pro-active teamwork to contribute to the overall key account management goals

Consult and provide input to the other teams to strengthen the portfolio, create new and review existing materials and supporting materials.

Build internal and external network of relevant stakeholders to strengthen species specific technical-commercial insights and reinforce an active company image

What are the minimum required qualifications, experience and competencies?

Higher agricultural education degree or university degree in animal science/veterinary medicine with practical orientation and experience

5 years minimum of technical and commercial experience within the swine industry

Excellent relationship management and internal and external teaming skills and sales planning capability

Technical know-how on Swine driven by strong advisory skills

Proven track record in value selling

Technical know-how on pig production driven by strong advisory skills

Flexible approach and ability to travel across the UK (must have a valid drivers license)
