A Global Leader in animal nutrition is looking to recruit a Sales Support Manager.
Our client is one of the best know and most respected supplier of animal feed ingredients in Uk and Global agriculture. This exciting new role reports to the National Sales Manager and covers all species but with a focus on ruminant.
You will be selling first class animal feed products and services customers all over the UK, by maintaining frequent contact with them via telephone and/or skype and email. You will work with smaller B2B customers on collections and orders, creating a quality service and developing business. You will work closely with Account managers, supporting when required.

You will be selling first class animal feed products and services customers all over the UK, by maintaining frequent contact with them via telephone and/or skype and email. You will work with smaller B2B customers on collections and orders, creating a quality service and developing business. You will work closely with Account managers, supporting when required.

This is an office based role in the North Midlands.

Candidate Qualification and Experience;

Excellent communicator at all levels within a business.

B2B sales experience a must, by telephone is an advantage.

Excellent telephone manner.

Proven track record of achievement in sales.

Good knowledge of the Animal Nutrition Industry.

Bachelor or Masters degree in Agriculture/Animal Nutrition an advantage.

Good level of Ruminant Nutrition Knowledge.

Well-developed computer skills to enable support of company software solutions.

In this role, you will;

Plan how to establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products.

Monitor Customer sales, to ensure budget volumes and margins are realised.

Uncover the crucial needs and requirements of the customer, link this to relevant nutrition solutions and products and finally closing deals.

Establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs.

Be knowledgeable about pricing to the customer base and ensure that the business remains competitive.

Participate with other key account managers and sales management to develop sales strategies.

Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.

Documents all customer activity into CRM.
