Our client is looking for an accomplished, experienced and enthusiastic sales manager, ready to take a step up the next level. This is a new role and reports straight to the Sales Director and is all about maximising strategic decision making to accelerate the sales growth of the business. You will manage a team of 5 sales people, driving effective sales development as well as developing and managing some key Accounts.You will seek out, nurture and grow new business. This is an ideal opportunity to use the skills you have developed in your animal feed sales career and apply them to manage your own team and be responsible for the profitability of the Feed and Pullet sales department.

Our client is looking for an accomplished, experienced and enthusiastic sales manager ready to take a step up to the next level. This is a new role and reports directly to the Sales Director.

You will manage a team of 5 sales people, driving effective sales development as well as developing and managing some Key Accounts. You will analyse the market, monitor sales, manage budgets and ensure you get the best out of your established sales team.

Responsibilities

Managing the Sales Team and all Sales activities for the business

Seeking opportunities for business development

Building relationships with major customers.

Establishing relationships with customers support network.

Attendance at relevant industry events and meetings

Collaborating with the Marketing team to devise, implement and track new business strategies.

Managing the Sales Team, allocating territory, managing commissions, expenses performance

Responsible for the performance assessments, development and as necessary selection of the Sales Team that is motivated to perform year on year and deliver on the overall strategic growth plans.

Experience and Competencies;

Experience in poultry feed and/or pullets is not essential but would be an advantage

Sales and Sales Management

Strategic thinker, organised

Objective, problem solver

Relishes responsibility, stands by decisions

Strong listener, persuasive communicator

Desirable Competencies Experience or Qualifications

Track record in agricultural (b2c) sales management

Understand the different sales cycles of our different products
