A hands on proven sales manager is required to lead a team, for a significant and well established UK based brand leader in climatic systems within the Poultry Industry.

A hands on proven sales manager is required to lead a team, for a significant and well established UK based brand leader in climatic systems within the Poultry Industry.

The business has successfully expanded both its team and product portfolio, of ventilation, climate control and environmental products, to meet the modern needs of the industry.

The role primarily involves the first class organisation of the sales and marketing activity for the brands within the UK. This will require management of a team of experienced sales specialists, as well as the office based sales team. It is a senior "hands on" role both in the field with the sales team and key customers; and in the companys head office to participate in key commercial decisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Development of the annual sales budget and the delivery of sales turnover and margin target for the business.

Retention, management, training and motivation of the internal and external sales, and installation teams.

Liaising with internal departments to assist with continued promotion of the brand.

Maintain and progress national account relationships with major poultry businesses and other business partners.

The main requirements:

Proven sales and sales management experience in the agriculture sector including dealing with national/key accounts within the poultry industry at a senior level, as well as dealing with farmers, merchants and contractors.

Technical practical poultry knowledge/experience including an understanding of the industry and the challenges they face e.g. planning/environmental climatic conditions.

Successful at motivating, managing developing a team.

Proficient at guiding and supporting marketing initiatives.

Excellent IT skills.

Enthusiasm, determination and ambition, and the ability to drive expansion.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Full UK driving licence.
