S274 - Area Sales Manager - North Wales

A well established and reputable Agricultural Business is currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team covering North Wales. The business is successful and the company prides itself on delivering quality products and advice, helping to improve the output and margins of farmer customers and developing lasting business relationships.
The territory has a substantial sales ledger and a sales person is required who can maintain and develop this ledger. The product portfolio is wide and includes animal feed, animal health, seed and fertiliser.
Applicants will have experience of selling to farmers in a previous commercial role.

The Requirements:

A broad knowledge of UK agriculture is essential.

Previous sales experience of animal feed sales/animal health is essential, a background in fertiliser sales would also be a bonus.

Reside in the sales territory or willing to relocate.

Ideally Welsh speaking but not essential.

Ability to build business relationships with farmers.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Good IT skills.

Agricultural degree, HND or equivalent is desirable.

Full UK driving license.
