An enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Representative is required to join their team in the Midlands. You will be required to deliver sales and customer success through helping the team achieve its budget and to drive future sales ensuring that customers expectations with regard to service and performance are met.

The role and Responsibilities:

Obtaining and qualifying sales enquiries from defined geographic area

Visiting potential customers and maintaining regular contact with existing end users

Following and reporting market developments

Annual and ad-hoc forecasting and planning of sales activity

Analysing and creating product system proposals

Obtaining basic barn layout designs and dimensions

Assisting with installation and start-up activity

Organising and attending farm open days and shows

Closing sales including collection of payments

Liaising with financial contacts to facilitate sales

Ensuring that relevant Service Contracts are in place with new and existing customers

Feeding back competitor and market information to the wider organisation

Compilation of weekly activity reports

Updating CRM system

Health Safety responsibility

Candidate Requirements:

Successful sales record. Experience in capital equipment sales in the dairy farm sector will be an advantage

Strong knowledge of dairy farming is highly desirable

Excellent organisation and planning skills

Flexible, with the ability to work off own initiative

Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Financially astute

Good computer skills

Clean UK driving license

Remuneration:

An excellent remuneration package will be on offer to include a competitive salary plus bonus scheme, contributory pension scheme, laptop, ipad and company car
