G404 - Ruminant Sales Specialist - South West
An exciting opportunity for a Ruminant Sales Specialist has become available for an established territory in the South West. Ideally the territory would cover Devon and/or Cornwall but other neighbouring territories may also be available by negotiation.
The role is that of a classic ruminant sales specialist with responsibility for serving existing clients and opening up new client accounts. The added advantage of this role is that the specialist will not be "over managed" and will be given a great deal of freedom to make their own decisions provided they are able to bring in the business profitably. This is an opportunity to be a person rather a figure in a business.
Good experience, understanding and interest in UK farming - particularly dairy.
Previous sales experience.
A keen interest in ruminant nutrition.
A good commercial grasp of the agricultural industry.
Determination and resilience.
Good communication and the skills to influence people (this is more than just being good at talking to farmers).
A strong work ethic.
Enthusiasm and confidence.
Valid UK driving licence.
The successful candidate will have experience of selling to farmers and will have good farm feeding expertise. The ability to build strong business relationships with farmers is essential. A self-motivated person is required. Our client is an established, reputable and successful business in the SW.
