An experienced Business Development Manager is required for a leading Pet Food company supplying formulations and recipes to the UK, European and Global Pet sector.

An experienced Business Development Manager is required for a leading Pet Food company supplying formulations and recipes to the UK, European and Global Pet sector.

This is a sales commercial role which offers the opportunity for the applicant to look after both existing clients and new business development in the above markets.

Primarily a field orientated role, you can expect to spend up to 60% of your time with customers and 40% in the office. A strong commercial mind along with experience in the area will be required to assist the existing commercial team and then ongoing account management and sales support skills.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven work experience in a Commercial sales role within the Companion Pet Food, Equine, Animal Feed Manufacture or Human Food Sectors

A good knowledge of pet nutrition is desirable, but is not essential as training and support will be given.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Commercially astute

Drive and ambition

Highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel

This role offers excellent career prospects for the right candidate with potential opportunities for International travel
