A630 - Anaerobic Digester Operations Manager - Gloucestershire

De Lacy Executives client is looking for a resourceful manager who can demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to all aspects of the role. Knowledge of operating and maintaining an AD Plant is an advantage, this is a hands on role and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a tidy site at all times.

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic with a good understanding of electrics and the control systems of the engines and AD plant. You will be responsible for filling the feeder, operating the hammer mill and the maintenance of chp engines, pumps and compressors etc. Full training can be provided.

The role and responsibilities:

Organise feedstock for AD plant to optimise electric yield.

Regular inspection of AD/Compost site with immediate action taken to resolve potential problems

Conduct daily, weekly and monthly checks of key components and critical control points.

Maintenance of machinery in the in-vessel compost building and Anaerobic Digester.

Basic maintenance of JCB loading shovel

Basic maintenance of gas engines

Remuneration:
