G374 - Sales Development Manager, Genetics - Midlands

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Development Manager, ideally to be based in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be dealing with cattle reproduction products and promoting these services.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to develop a sales background and progress their career into sales management. The role combines a strategic sales approach with marketing flare, and offers the opportunity to make a huge impact on the business moving forward.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the total sales of the products by stimulating and coordinating the activities of the current sales team, guiding/training new sales representatives and also directly selling in your own region.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct guidance of sales representatives.

Train and guide new sales reps on the job.

Direct guidance of agents and independents.

Selling on farm.

Prepare pricelists and catalogues.

Organise and participate in shows and events.

Be the "face" of the company.

You may be required to work from the office 1-2 days per week.


Ideally experience in sales in the agricultural sector, preferably in cattle breeding.

Experience in people management would be preferable but not essential.

Be prepared to work "hands on".

Independent and flexible.

Willing to travel in the UK and abroad.

Valid UK driving licence.
