L048 - Regional Sales Manager - home based

De Lacy Executive seeks an ambitious and driven Regional Sales Manager to step on to the career path with a Global company as it expands and revitalises its UK market. The Company specialises in multiple agricultural sectors, but more specifically, this role is to manage, support and motivate the merchant trade and a professional team of Crop Specialists selling to farmers, through distributors, a range of well-respected products related to crop nutrition and production efficiency. Responsibility for overseeing the local distribution network also will fall within the scope of this varied role.

De Lacy Executive seeks an ambitious and driven Regional Sales Manager to step on to the career path with a Global company as it expands and revitalises its UK market. The Company specialises in multiple agricultural sectors, but more specifically, this role is to manage, support and motivate the merchant trade and a professional team of Crop Specialists selling to farmers, through distributors, a range of well-respected products related to crop nutrition and production efficiency. Responsibility for overseeing the local distribution network also will fall within the scope of this varied role.

This is a role for someone who thrives on the autonomy to run their business region under the strategic direction of the General Manager UK.

The regional territory will be devised around the home area of the successful candidate. All arable locations can be considered for the right candidate. More than one regional territory may be made available if there is more than one capable applicant.

The main objective is to maximise regional revenue whilst working towards personal and team sales targets. Training will be provided and support given by Product Managers.

Candidate Requirements:

Possess a regional network of trade and farm contacts.

Proven farm sales experience and the ability to identify sales opportunities.

Determination, motivation and strong work ethic.

Good broad understanding of UK arable farming.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Excellent computer literacy.

UK driving license.

Whilst the emphasis is on the arable market candidates from a range of backgrounds will be considered providing there is a broad knowledge of the arable sector.
