G365 - Sales Manager - Calf Rearing Products

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager. Our client is a progressive and profitable business with a broad range of calf rearing products including calf health, nutrition and environment.

The scope for the business is huge, with an eventual target to develop a national team calling on dairy farms selling established innovative products and services. The role requires in the first instance someone who is prepared to pioneer the operation with face to face interaction with farmers, but with the scope to see and understand the bigger opportunities to develop the business. This opening genuinely has significant opportunities for progression, the right individual will have the opportunity to be appointed as Director.

This is the ideal role for someone who is a self-starter, the successful person will be encouraged to find and introduce new and innovative products and services to the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit progressively a National Team of salesmen in agreement with MD.

Initially to organise and effectively call personally on farmers to sell the products and services.

Manage and coordinate day to day work of team.

Manage and motivate the field team.

Identify and assist in sourcing new products and equipment.

Report to Director monthly on performance of the team.

Ensure all team are well trained and comply with company objectives.



Good knowledge of livestock nutrition and practical calf skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to recruit and manage people.

Knowledge of the sales processes and reporting.

Computer literate.

Valid UK driving licence.

Location: Applicants will ideally be Midlands or Cheshire based but this is a National role and is flexible.

Remuneration: An attractive salary package is on offer for the right person, including a performance related bonus and vehicle.
