G363 - Technical Sales Manager - Feed Additives - UK and Europe

Due to continued growth and success of the business our client is now seeking to recruit a Technical Ruminant Sales Manager to join the established team supplying clients in UK and Europe. Our Client is a successful international Animal Nutrition company headquartered in the UK and supplying feed ingredients of the highest quality to the animal feed industry around the world. This is an exciting career opportunity in a growing and prestigious team.

Suitable candidates will have a strong technical background in animal nutrition, animal health, veterinary science, or microbiology and be able to support the sales team of the company both in the UK and throughout Europe. The focus of the role will be to provide technical and commercial support to distributors and end users across a portfolio of products. This could include feed formulation advise, advise on diet specifications, livestock performance related enquiries, animal health issues and also, advising on general husbandry and hygiene. The Technical Sales Manager will give training to distributor sales and technical teams across Europe and will also have lots of direct contact with farms, feed mills, and integrated producers.

Requirements:

Ideally, more than two years commercial experience in ruminant agricultural industry.

Technical understanding of ruminant nutrition.

Preferably possess a degree level qualification, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline.

Self-motivated and confident with a natural flair to influence people.

Willing to travel; (approx. 1week per month in Northern Europe).

Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Location: Home based in UK
