H152 - Technical Sales Manager - Midlands/South

De Lacy Executive has been engaged by a global feed business to recruit a Technical Sales Manager to further develop the sales and the profile of a broad range of multi species Feed Additive and Added Value products that are marketed by the company.

The main objective of the role will be to provide technical and commercial support whilst ensuring the business development of a wide range of products for our client.

Key responsibilities include:

Technical advice to colleagues and customers.

Increase brand awareness of products.

Deliver agreed budget on sales.

Support customers with technical support package.

To assist with product and market development.

Participation in customer technical/commercial meetings.

Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer relationships.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally hold an Agricultural or Animal Science degree.

Experience of the feed industry and/or livestock production would be an advantage.

The ability to demonstrate good commercial awareness with strong communication skills.

Listen to customers, interpret their requirements and translate into profitable sales.

Strong IT skills.

Valid UK driving license.

This is a varied role, with a mixture of office time and time on the road for customer visits.
