G359 - Area Sales, Feed Fertiliser - Midlands, Cheshire or Cumbria

A vacancy has arisen for an Area Sales person to service and expand an existing ledger of customers in the Midlands. The company sells direct to farmers. They pride themselves on manufacturing an extensive top quality range of specialist feed and fertiliser. The territory will be based around the ideal applicant but ideally they will be based in the Midlands, Cheshire or Cumbria. There is a large potential to increase share in existing territories and to expand into new territories.

Ideally applicants will have experience of selling to farmers in a previous commercial role. This is a great opportunity for those who are driven by numbers and feel they are not being sufficiently rewarded in their current role.

Requirements:

A broad knowledge of UK agriculture is essential, ideally livestock nutrition and/or fertiliser.

Ability to build business relationships with farmers.

Determination and energy.

A can do attitude and ambition.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Good IT skills.

Ideally, proven farm sales experience.

Agricultural degree, HND or equivalent is desirable.

Full UK driving licence.

Remuneration: Our client offers a competitive remuneration package based upon a good salary, significant bonus potential and a company car. For experienced sales people the package is negotiable.
