De Lacy Executives client is a very successful international company supplying products to the farm livestock sector. We seek an office based, Telesales Executive to join their team. A good agricultural knowledge will be a strong advantage.

The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent telephone-based customer sales and support to existing and new customers. Working to specific objectives, you will be directly responsible for generating sales and sales enquiries for the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact potential or existing customers to inform them of a product, sales or promotional campaign

Successfully work towards sales targets

Answer questions regarding the products within the group portfolio

Direct prospective sales to field sales staff where appropriate

Enter and update customer information into the database

Manage customer objections to a successful outcome, whilst preserving company reputation

Take and process orders accurately

Candidate Requirements:

Excellent communication/listening and problem solving skills

Polite and friendly manner

The ability to deal with objections

Achievement orientated

Ability to perform under pressure

Skilled in training staff in sales techniques

Have an innovative approach

Proven experience in a previous telesales role

Proven track record of successfully meeting targets in sales, call volumes, call quality and accuracy

Good business awareness and background demonstrated via qualification or relevant career history

IT literate

A knowledge of the agricultural industry will be an advantage

Remuneration:

A competitive salary will be on offer dependant on experience.
