S235 - Sales and Seed Treatment Specialist UK/Ireland/Scandinavia - Home based

De Lacy Executive is looking to recruit a Sales and Seed Treatment Specialist for UK/Ireland and Scandinavia. Reporting to the Country Manager, the successful applicant will work directly with Sales and the Marketing and Development teams to support and develop the Seed Treatment business. The mission of the role is to be the benchmark leader of Seed Treatments as well as the Plant Protection portfolio in the Scandinavian countries.

De Lacy Executive is looking to recruit a Sales and Seed Treatment Specialist for UK/Ireland and Scandinavia. Reporting to the Country Manager, the successful applicant will work directly with Sales and the Marketing and Development teams to support and develop the Seed Treatment business. The mission of the role is to be the benchmark leader of Seed Treatments as well as the Plant Protection portfolio in the Scandinavian countries.

Responsibilities:

To run the Seed Treatment and the Plant Protection business in the respective countries on a daily basis by meeting distributors, negotiating prices and facilitating orders.

Develop, continually update and report on the market and business strategy aligned to the targets for North Europe.

To act as an intermediary for all registration, development and marketing for Seed Treatment projects.

To negotiate prices and volumes with the customers in the territory in line with the agreed budget pricing.

Provide forecasts and contribute to product supply meetings to ensure customer demands are met.

To follow up and manage to a successful resolution, technical, marketing and commercial issues, that may arise with customers.

Develop new markets for existing or new products on Country or Area basis in conjunction with Marketing, Registration and Technical Managers contributing to the Regional Strategy.

Support the business through the development of promotional materials in conjunction with the Region Marketing Lead.

Develop and present Budget and Price proposals to Management.

Expand business in the territory through the development of new Projects.

Requirements:

University degree in basic Science study, Biology and Molecular science, Agricultural science, or related field agronomic science (agronomy, weed science, plant pathology, entomology or plant nutrition and physiology) - required.

Technically Competent in Crop production / Protection / Fertilization / Biostimulation.

At least 5-years of relevant experience in the agrochemical market.

At least 3-years experience of managing Seed Treatments in UK and Ireland.

Agrochemical and specifically Seed Treatment market knowledge.

Proven abilty to define a commercial strategy, demonstrate project leadership and development of customer account strategies.

Competent IT skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and IBM notes.

Proven ability to anticipate and to impact change, influence and collaborate to bring success.

An effective communicator both internally and externally.

An MBA will be an added advantage.
