An Experienced Customer Services Manager is required by a global animal nutrition and bio ingredients company.
An Experienced Customer Services Manager is required by a global animal nutrition and bio ingredients company. The successful applicant will be responsible for running the Customer Services department in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet customers expectations.
The Role and Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the Customer Service Team
Ensure service procedures, policies and standards are maintained and make improvements where required
Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, both internal and external
Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
Order process, organise shipping, raise purchase orders, check invoicing, assist in stock control management
Check customer invoices and sign credit notes, post sales
Maintain the master files for customer and client records
Health Safety committee member
Attend production meetings
Assist the commercial team with data/sales enquiries
Provide customer service assistance
Provide sales data and reports
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in Business Administration or relevant subject.
Proven experience as a customer service manager is essential
Strong man management skills
Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools - use of UNIX would be an advantage
Ability to think strategically, lead, manage and delegate
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Customer focused with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. French language skills would be desirable.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work as part of a team or independently
