H107 - Country Store Manager - Wales

Our client is a significant regional rural retailer of goods and services to farmers and the general public. Our client operates a small chain of stores in Wales which serves the rural residential and business market.

Reporting to the General Manager the responsibilities will primarily involve overseeing the day to day management of people, merchandising, store layout, customer care and liaison with buyers and suppliers.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are commercially aware and able to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

An agricultural background is an advantage but we would also like to hear from candidates who have an empathy and understanding of rural life.

Whilst our client would prefer candidates with previous store management experience, candidates with drive and enthusiasm and the potential to grow into the role will also be considered.

Requirements:

Proven retail store management experience - or the potential to.

The ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

Strong organisational skills.

A good understanding of the Agricultural industry.

UK driving license.

Remuneration: Excellent salary and remuneration package to reflect the importance of the role.
