Our client is a well-established, progressive and highly successful family business operating within the bovine and equine industries. They are market leaders in their business sector and their innovative high quality products are widely respected.

De Lacy Executive seek an ambitious and dynamic Sales Manager to cover of the North of the UK selling predominantly to farm.

This position is accountable for the management of existing key account business and the development of commercial opportunities, including driving sales growth, developing and implementing new initiatives and monitoring and acting on market trends and competitor activity.

The successful candidate will need to be willing to commute to our clients head office two days a week.

Responsibilities:

Maintain grow current market share within the sales territory

Responsibility for the Marketing strategy

Development of SOPs driving continuous improvement in the provision of products and services to customers

Product development by keeping abreast of market developments customer feedback/requirements

Contribution to the overall strategy and company and direction of the company

Attendance at shows as required

Candidate Requirements

Demonstrable track record of successful key account management within the agricultural sector

Sound knowledge of the dairy industry will be a strong advantage

Evidence of growing business by increasing sales and margin

Tenacity to drive sales

Excellent communication skills

Strong negotiation skills

Ability to work under own initiative

Honest and reliable with a strong work ethic

Highly motivated

Excellent time management skills

Full UK driving licence

Remuneration:
