G324 - Could you Manage a Herd Health Project?

De Lacy Executive is seeking a Project Manager for a Cattle Herd Health Programme which will be run on a national basis. The office is midlands based and ideally the successful candidate will be office based.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, monitoring and coordinating the delivery of a Control and Elimination programme.

Planning, creating, and/or managing all relevant activities including variances, tracking, reporting, communication, performance evaluation and internal coordination.

Oversee the completion of all standards, documentation, manuals, and training aids used in projects.

Monitor and record progress, identify key collaborators, milestones, targets and update project meetings on progress, issues and risks identified.

Manage resource planning, task completion, and ensure targets are achieved.

Support Endemic Disease management.

Key Candidate Attributes:

Relevant degree in biological, agricultural or business discipline.

Well-developed project management skills.

The ability to prioritise, problem solve and manage own workload.

Effective networking with internal and external contacts, including farmers, vets, commercial, academic.

Knowledge of, or experience in, the cattle sector.
