De Lacy Executive has been engaged by a global feed business to recruit a Feed Additives Sales Manager to further develop the sales and the profile of a broad range of multi species Feed Additive products that are marketed by the company. This opportunity has arisen as a result of continued development and growth.
The main objective of the role will be to provide technical and commercial support whilst ensuring the business development of feed additives for our client.
Key responsibilities include:
Technical advice for Feed Additives to colleagues and customers.
Increase brand awareness of Feed Additive products.
Deliver agreed budget on Feed Additive sales.
Support customers with technical support package.
To assist with product and market development.
Participation in customer technical/commercial meetings.
Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer relationships.
The successful candidate will ideally hold an Agricultural or Animal Science degree. Experience of the feed industry and/or livestock production would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate good commercial awareness with strong communication skills. You will have a natural ability to be able to listen to customers, interpret their requirements and translate into profitable sales. We are seeking well organised applicants with strong IT skills. This is a varied role, with a mixture of office time and time on the road for customer visits.
