H065 - Regional Sales Manager - Feed Additives - Northern England/Scotland

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced technical sales person in the ruminant feed sector to fill the senior role of Regional Sales Manager. This role is to cover Northern England and Scotland although there is also the potential for Northern Ireland to be part of the sales territory.

The role will encompass the management of existing accounts in the B2B feed manufacturing and agricultural merchant sector. It will also require the successful candidate to support customers in "pull-through" sales to farmers.

Requirements:

Broad understanding of ruminant nutrition.

Previous B2B sales experience - desirable but not essential.

Good organisational skills.

Valid UK driving license.

Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Manage and develop existing and new accounts.

Support customers through pull-through sales.

Provide technical support.

Manage the sales and margin budget.

The products are high value additives used by compounders and blenders and they are also sold by merchants for on farm mixing in ruminant feeds. Therefore the role involves selling through the trade and supporting the product on farm, as required. The company is well established in this specialist sector but with opportunity for further growth in market share.
