De Lacy has been retained to recruit a Sales Team Manager for a global company offering leading livestock identification and managerial products and services. The vacancy has arisen as a result of company growth. This role is principally to manage, motivate and direct the UK sales agents to ensure they deliver efficiently and perform individually as well as a team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the UK agents to achieve budgeted sales volume, margin contribution.

Input to budgeting and planning sales activities by product and region

Ensure all customers receive the optimum level of service to maximize customer profitability.

Oversee product knowledge training and product / brand awareness of the agents. Ensure they follow administrate and Corporate protocols relating to sales.

Develop and maintain technical and product knowledge.

Contribute to the development of the marketing strategy and policies within the market sector.

Provide troubleshooting support for agents or customers.

Recruit and develop a suitable network of UK based, self-employed agents.

Assist in the on-going development and maintenance of added value service packages to provide optimum customer support solutions.

Ensure effective communications between the team of Agents

Key Requirements

Successful sustained track record in key account management, customer segmentation, business development, sales marketing preferably in the livestock traceability additive industry.

Highly developed negotiation/selling skills.

Customer orientated Team player and skilled in leadership of projects.

Strong personal presence.

Good communicator in all aspects at all levels.

Computer literate.

Ability to resolve problems.

Able to travel extensively and stay overnight when required.
