G301 - Technical Support Advisor - Midlands

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Advisor to support our clients sales team and customers. Our client is a significant and well-respected supplier of animal nutrition and animal health products.
This is a varied role that will allow the successful applicant to go on farm as well as being based in an office.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Advisor to support our clients sales team and customers. Our client is a significant and well-respected supplier of animal nutrition and animal health products.

This is a varied role that will allow the successful applicant to go on farm as well as being based in an office.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical, advisory, sales and marketing support to sales colleagues, their customers, key accounts and at shows /events.

Development of the product portfolio and appropriate sales, marketing and training literature.

Participate in ensuring legislative compliance of product and labels.

Create and present AMTRA accredited CPD presentations to customer SQPs

Maintain technical competence.

Maintain technical awareness of on-going development within the industry both animal health and legislative related.

Key Requirements:

Ruminant biased with a degree in agricultural nutrition or animal science (large animal).

Commercial experience preferred

Excellent communication, presenting, coaching and mentoring skills

Effective communication essential to convey technical information to people of all levels of understanding using both spoken and written mediums.

Computer literate

Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within the team environment

Ability to work under pressure and manage time

Ideally knowledge of manufacturing methods and raw material characteristics

Remuneration:
