An experienced registration specialist is urgently sought by our Global agrochemical manufacturer client to oversee the approval of active ingredients formulated products in full compliance with European regulations.
An experienced registration specialist from within the crop protection arena is urgently sought by our Global agrochemical manufacturer client to oversee the successful approval of active ingredients and formulated products in full compliance with European regulations and within agreed budgets for the product portfolio.
Day to day responsibilities on assigned active ingredients will include:-
Management of all regulatory needs (including required data generation), linked to assigned molecules in order to complete dossier preparation on time and to secure registrations.
Writing of European product registration dossiers (except the Biological Assessment Dossier) to allow timely submissions.
Offering scientific support to help in answering regulatory questions on assigned molecules/active ingredients.
To provide Regulatory intelligence on specific pesticides/biocides and give advice on specific scientific topics as required.
Participation in conferences or workshops - to maintain a high level of awareness of developments of the science (Guidance documents, risk assessment approaches, methodologies and models, where relevant) related to registration matter.
Help to build a strong regulatory team network across Europe.
Work with the technical development manager, product performance manager and marketing managers to create plans for new product strategies, marketing, and registrations.
Establish effective contacts with regulatory authorities and ensure that they understand the companys plans and objectives.
Represent the companys at meetings with regulatory authorities and at other international meetings of regulators and industry.
Maintain an awareness of the regulatory status of competitor products.
Degree (BSc) or Masters (MSc) in Agricultural Science, Plant Science, Life Sciences or similar
Knowledge of and interest in Crop Protection, Agrochemicals, Field Trials, and Agronomy.
Previous experience in writing high quality Registration Reports, Dossiers (or similar documents).
Highly developed advocacy and negotiating skills.
Proven track record of dealing with regulatory authorities.
Expert in understanding and interpreting complex scientific data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to meet critical dossier submission deadlines and manage multiple business-critical projects.
Advanced computer literacy for the use of Excel, databases and other software is essential.
Location: Home based or at company offices in UK or Belgium.
