We are seeking an experienced Ruminant Feed Sales professional.

We are seeking an experienced Ruminant Feed Sales professional. Our client is a well-established and successful specialist Animal Feed Manufacturer producing both compound and blends for livestock. The role will focus on selling a large range of high quality specialist feeds to livestock farmers across Yorkshire.

This is a field based role and will involve managing existing accounts and selling to farmers to gain new business. This is a unique opportunity since our client is a well-respected supplier of a substantial variety of wholesome compounds, blends and straights to suit any size of livestock enterprise.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous farm sales experience, ideally selling animal feeds or animal health products is essential.

Proven ability to generate new customers.

Sound knowledge of the UK livestock farming industry, including Dairy, Beef and Sheep production is essential.

Excellent communication skills.

Good negotiation skills.

Positive attitude and ability to work autonomously.

Drive, confidence and flexibility are vital.

Computer literate with up to date IT skills.

Full UK driving licence.

The role is based within an established area; the successful applicant will be responsible for serving existing clients and opening up new accounts.

Remuneration:

A very competitive basic salary plus company car, mobile phone and a performance related bonus.
