A first class opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Customer Service/Order Processor to join a leading provider of precise dairy herd management solutions. Our client is a modern forward thinking company and this is an ideal time to join a highly successful operation.

You will be responsible for order processing from receipt of order through to delivery and invoicing, ensuring that sales orders are processed swiftly, efficiently and accurately. Acting professionally at all times, you will contribute fully in all sales team activities and offer a high level of customer service.

The successful candidate will have previous sales order processing /customer service experience and possess the ability to evaluate current working procedures and set up new systems.

This will be an office based role in the North East of England

The role:

Receive and process incoming customer orders.

Inform customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates and potential delays

Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and contracts.

Inspect outgoing work for compliance with customers specifications.

Receive and respond to customer complaints.

Calculate and compile order-related statistics and prepare reports for management.

Adjust inventory records to reflect product movement.

Recommend products or services that will meet customers needs.

Attempt to sell additional product or services to prospective or current customers by telephone or other channels

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience of sales order processing is essential

Experience working in a customer service environment is a must

Ability to evaluate working procedures and set up new systems

Previous experience using order processing software

Excellent communication skills

Highly organised and methodical

Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of the UK dairy/beef sector would be an advantage
