An opportunity has arisen within a well-established and very successful international speciality feed business, for an area business manager within Lancashire and the surrounding counties.
An opportunity has arisen within a well-established and very successful international speciality feed business, for an area business manager within Lancashire and the surrounding counties. We are looking for ruminant feed sales professionals who are available to maintain and develop the current B2B sales relationships and continue to grow the current sales ledger to the merchant trade and feed manufacturers.
This is an opportunity as a result of strong business growth but comes with an established territory and ledger. The territory delineation is flexible at this stage but the ideal candidate would cover much of the North Midlands and surrounding areas.
Nutritional experience, especially including farm feed formulation, will be helpful but the ability to sell to the trade will be most important. This is a business manager role and not a sales role alone.
You will need to have the capability to manage client accounts and grow their business steadily alongside the ability to identify opportunities, plan for growth in the region and manage margin are all important.
Candidates must be able to influence the decision makers in the trade in their area and also to support their customers.
Previous commercial experience in the UK feed or livestock industry is essential. A very competitive package will be offered reflecting experience and ability. It will include a good salary and a performance related bonus plus company car, phone and laptop.
