G287 - HR Manager - West Midlands

Our client, an established nationwide business with an excellent reputation, is seeking an HR Manager for their offices based in the West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer focus, high levels of integrity and be an expert in the HR field. The role involves face to face meetings, significant telephone, email and web-based contact.

The successful candidate will provide effective HR Management to the HR team, reporting into the Chief Operating Officer. Delivering the HR vision and people strategy for the organisation in line with its values and principles.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Writing and implementing all HR policy and processes.

Performance Management - including supporting managers with disciplinary grievance issues.

Create a learning and development programme for the whole organisation, each team and individual, based on a training needs analysis.

Manage the payroll provider the payroll process.

Review measure employee satisfaction

Work with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issue.

Provide advice support to Senior Managers on recruitment, assessment and selection processes.

Co-ordinate the appointment process for successful applicants.

Support management of the Health Safety policy.

Although this is largely an office based role, there will however be occasional travel as required. The pace of work is fast and demanding, requiring a great deal of judgement and organisation.

Applicant attributes and requirements:

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Expert in HR field (CIPD preferred but not essential).

An agricultural understanding would be advantageous but not essential.

Excellent IT skills.

Remuneration will be negotiable and based upon the experience and potential of the successful applicant.
