Our client is a progressive agri-tech company operating in the renewable energy sector within the poultry Industry. They are a Global leader in their field and their innovative, patented products ensure major savings for their customers.
The business is embarking on an aggressive global commercialisation path, employing new professionals, furthering and developing its technology and rapidly expanding its customer base.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the company requires a Director of Sales for the UK.
Role and Responsibilities:
Present company products and demonstrate how they meet customers needs and the resulting benefits.
Identify, develop and increase sales opportunities within the UK, working alongside new and existing customers through adopting a challenger process of selling.
Interpret customer requirements and take control of the delivery to the customer of a facility which is to spec, commissioned and delivered on time.
Understand the costs associated with each uniquely scoped Contract and the benefits to both the customer and the company.
Preparation of proposals, tenders and quotations
Negotiate Sales contracts with terms conditions to meet both client and company needs.
Work with colleagues to solve customer requirements.
Act as key point of contact with the customer. Liaise with all parties to provide pre and after sales advice and service. Secure an after sales service contract that meets the customers needs.
Communicate to the business the progress of each opportunity using the companies CRM tool.
Prepare reports, budgets and forecasts to deliver profitability to the business.
Travel to and from client operations, trade shows and conferences as required.
Several years proven sales experience
Knowledge of the UK and International poultry business would be a distinct advantage
Knowledge of heating and combustion systems would be desirable
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
Solution orientated problem solver
Proven leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player
Strong negotiation and engagement skills
Good presentation skills
Deep understanding of costings and profitability will be a strong advantage
Self-motivated and highly organised
Positive attitude with the drive and work ethic to meet targets
Full UK driving licence
