S191 - Technical Marketing Manager - Hampshire

A great new job opportunity with a leading amenity and horticultural business in Hampshire has arisen. The successful candidate will be working closely with the technical team and leading on the delivery of marketing materials, website information, events, exhibitions and conferences. This role will suit candidates with some previous marketing experience, or candidates with knowledge of the amenity / horticultural sectors and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing the e-commerce site, including product information, pricing, technical information.

Co-ordinate new product launches and the associated marketing materials.

Responding to customer and sales team technical enquires.

Putting together marketing materials such as catalogue, manuals, etc. and ensure accuracy.

Co-ordinate PR requirements including Twitter, press articles, promotional items.

Work with sales team to create customer seminars and technical information.

Help to put together high quality customer presentations.

Co-ordinating the monthly sales report.

Liaising with event organisers to plan, co-ordinate and attend seminars, events, shows, and conferences.

Monitoring competitor activity and pricing, and keep up to date on new developments in the sector.

Manage the marketing budget.

Candidate requirements:

Knowledge of Horticultural or Amenity or Agricultural sectors - preferred.

Previous experience in putting together presentations and marketing materials.

Excellent IT skills.

Excellent communication skills including good English skills.

Able to manage work load and to work autonomously and also within a small team.

Good organisational skills, with good attention to detail.

Full driving licence as some national travel and overnight stays will be required.

Remuneration: A competitive salary package is on offer, depending on experience.
