M552 - Amenity and Turf Care Specialist - Yorkshire
Experienced Amenity or Turf Care sales specialist to work for a leading company from a home base in Yorkshire. Full support and product training available as required.
De Lacy Executive are actively seeking an experienced amenity sales professional to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team within a very successful and well respected UK wide business.
Our Client has a reputation for service and a broad range of quality products in the turf care and amenity sector. The Company has a progressive Business Development Plan and offers excellent career progression opportunities to ambitious individuals. Excellent training and support will be provided - including the FACTS and BASIS qualifications if necessary.
You will be required to maintain an existing ledger and develop the ledger further within the sales territory - mainly in the Yorkshire region. The product portfolio is wide, and primarily includes seed, specialist fertilisers, herbicides, insecticides, growth regulators, additives, soil treatments and lake products.
You will also have the opportunity to sell value added products and services. You will be encouraged to attend British International Golf Greenkeepers Association meetings and similar golf sector events.
Previous experience selling into the amenity and turf care sector will be a distinct advantage.
Excellent knowledge of golf greens upkeep and/or grounds and sports ground maintenance.
BASIS (amenity) and FACTS qualifications are highly desirable, but not essential, as training can be provided.
Ability to build strong business relationships.
Determination and initiative.
A can do attitude and ambition.
Excellent communication skills.
Good IT skills
Flexible approach to work as seasonal fluctuations in work patterns are likely.
Full UK driving licence
Remuneration: An excellent remuneration package including company car is on offer dependant on experience and potential.
Location: Home based in Yorkshire.
