H031 - Experienced Ruminant Sales Specialist - North West England
De Lacy Executive is seeking an experienced sales professional to strengthen an established ruminant feed sales team and build on existing accounts.
Our client is a well-established and reputable supplier of fertiliser and other animal health products serving farmers across the UK. It is a successful and growing business, combining traditional values of service and quality with modern technology and systems.
Candidates will have previous animal feed sales experience. For the right person who has sales team management experience or for a sales person who is ready for that next promotional step but hasnt previously managed a team, there could be the opportunity for this progression.
Previous experience of ruminant feed sales to livestock farmers - direct farm sales experience is essential.
Ability to build long-lasting business relationships
Sound understanding of ruminant nutrition, including on farm rationing and diet advice.
Relevant Agricultural degree or HND helpful but not essential.
Practical farming knowledge and experience essential.
Ambition and determination
Self-motivated and proactive.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly in a small friendly team.
Valid UK driving license
