A well established and reputable Agricultural Business is currently seeking an Animal Health Specialist to join their team. The business is successful and expanding, the company prides itself on delivering quality products and advice, helping to improve the output and margins of farmer customers and developing lasting business relationships. Advise customers on appropriate animal health products, engaging effectively with farmers to build and maintain long lasting business relationships.
Supporting sales staff with technical details of the products.
Product training and campaign support with customers.
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the region.
Applicants, who have an established track record of selling to farmers and have comprehensive knowledge of both UK animal health and livestock, will be of particular interest. The successful applicant will fulfil the following requirements:
Excellent knowledge of the UK Livestock industry.
AMTRA certified - would be desirable but not essential.
Good communicator at all levels.
Graduate in Agricultural or Animal Science discipline would be an advantage.
Motivated and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Energy, enthusiasm and the ambition to grow.
Full valid UK driving licence.
A good package, which is negotiable according to experience and potential, will be offered to the successful candidate along with a company car.
