A fascinating career vacancy has arisen for an experienced Livestock Sales Specialist to enhance the Midlands team and grow a well - established client base. If you can support sales to farmers and merchants of a range of health and nutrition products with a bias towards ruminant products our client will be very keen to meet you. Our client is a well-known, respected and very successful international supplier of a proven range of nutritional health and performance enhancing solutions. The products, developed by in house R D, have a powerful technical story so the ability to master a technical brief will be essential. However this is not a role for a nutritionist alone but for a sales professional who can engage effectively with farmers and agricultural businesses in the territory.

This important position involves maintaining existing customers through regular meetings, relationship management and continuous technical training/support, directly on farm with livestock enterprises, especially dairy. You will also be required to proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the region including agricultural merchant businesses.

Our client will consider sales people from a variety of backgrounds including, for example, animal health, breeding products and feed, and a wide range of experience. The successful person will be of high sales calibre and will demonstrate the following:

Enthusiasm.

Success in selling to UK dairy/beef farmers over at least the last 2 years.

Understanding of UK beef/dairy feeding systems.
