Revenue Manager 30k – 37k depending on experience – Central London

As an Online Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for shaping, planning and managing a portfolio to ensure that their status and performance is clearly monitored, actively managed and effectively governed in line with business priorities.

The successful candidate will be eager to help management drive the business forward by championing good practice and portfolio growth, delivering excellent customer service and guidance and demonstrating stellar stakeholder management across all platforms.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maximizing portfolio revenue by developing property specific strategies using system based analysis including:,

o Historical demand analysis

o Current production

o Price-Value comparison

o STR comp set analysis

o Business mix analysis

o Demand/blackout date calendar

Ensuring all properties are effectively positioned in the marketplace to maximize revenue and occupancy based on demand conditions including: ,

o Rate structure / tier pricing by season

o Channel parity / availability

o Competitive pricing analysis

o Manage availability of rates/rate tiers

o Manage inventory restrictions (MLOS)

Conducting market audits across the consumer and online space to understand local markets and demand generators as well as to:,

o Monitor actions of competitive hotels (product quality improvements, supply changes, pricing strategies, service offerings, etc.)

o Collaborate with OTA sites to identify trends and areas of opportunities for regional marketing and operational improvement

Demonstrating strong reporting and communication skills keeping internal and external stakeholders abreast of portfolio conditions including:,

o Annual forecast tracking by channel/brand/region

o Regular property-level financial performance analysis and reporting

o Month reviews

o Weekly tracking / status reports

o Daily / Weekly / Monthly revenue calls with the property

Analyzing performance on a regular basis to refine revenue management strategies in line with past and future trends.

Organizing and optimizing workload and portfolio performance including:,

o Accurate coding and reporting within PMS and CRS

o Yield Management accountability and updating for CRS/GDS/PMS inventory directly within systems

Identifying and championing technology needs for effective revenue management implementation by acting as the primary business sponsor of technology improvements for both corporate office and properties

IT Skill Requirements:

Ability to operate or quickly learn CRS and PMS Systems

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

Excel spreadsheets to financial standards

Microsoft word

Outlook email

Exposure to accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar)

Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.com

Required Credentials:

Bachelors

Minimum of 3 years’ work experience

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience in the hotel or banking industry required

Ability to perform reporting on a timely basis

Works well with clients, colleagues and suppliers from various backgrounds and with varying technical skill sets

Experience of managing senior stakeholders in a complex operational landscape

Familiarity with terminology in the hotel industry and revenue management department
